2014 Goals

Ever year I set these "resolutions" for myself and in reality I never get around to doing many of them. This year instead of doing resolutions I set goals.

My husband and I talked about what we wanted to accomplish this year and how we can help each other make them happen.

First thing that popped into my head was paying off some student loans or credit card debts so we are working on that starting next week by setting off some money on the side each month.

Second we also want to go somewhere usually he takes me somewhere for my birthday in October so we have plenty of time to save up and research where we want to go.

Getting Fit and eating healthier has been a goal for us for a while. Though I had a good thing going with Zumba and juicing I find it very difficult to juggle work, home, social life and every thing else. Last week I made a big mistake of doing a 2 hour workout after being inactive for months and I felt great at first but when it was over my body went on shutdown and I felt sick, dizzy and felt like vomiting. Now I guess I will have to start from the beginning with my 30 minute workout.

Finally like I mentioned I want to balance my life because I have worked at home for many years working in the industry has been tough for me since I don't spend as much time at home I get to do these things when it comes to going out, cooking, even my blog.

I would love to know what your goals/resolutions are for this year or how you are planning to achieve them?

This year I decided to make a short list of goals every month. January is decluttering a few areas around our home. Not sure what next months goals will be yet, but hoping to stay with it. Good Luck with your plans.

My goals are to focus on one room per month and clean and declutter it. January is the kitchen. I also want to eat cleaner and lose some weight by doing challenges every month. My hubby is doing it with me so that is helpng me keep doing the challenges.

Bioken Enfanti m72 Ceramide Shine Serum Review & Giveaway

Getting the right protection for your hair is crucial to healthy and beautiful hair. When ever you style your hair with any heat tools it is important to remember it need protection. We want to avoid dry, lifeless hair and that means the split ends that come with every single hair straightener. Having used Bioken Enfanti before I trust and believe that it does a great job in achieving just that. The m72 Ceramide collection includes a Shampoo & Conditioner, a Treatment Mask, Shine Lotion and of course the Shine Serum.  They are all affordable and can be purchased HERE. Since I use hot tools almost everyday. It is really easy yo forget to give your hair the protection it needs. The shine serum is great to prevent split ends, dry lifeless hair and gives smooth and a shiny finish. It is not extremely oily or leaves your hair looking dirty.

Clutter Free with Music Magpie

My hubby is a DVDs and video game hoarders. Like you can imagine we have a large amount of DVDs, video games and Cd's we don't use. We have game consoles from back in the day and if I could get rid of them I would.

We recently moved from Riverside to LA and I found out how much stuff we actually had. Though it was a very short amount of time that I had to pack, I was able to separate all the DVDs games etc in a different box. It makes it difficult for anybody to move or even save space for other things when you have cabinets full of stuff. So I made it a challenge for me to get rid of some of the old stuff and I found the perfect way of doing so!

Guylian Chocolate Review

I was so excited about the opportunity to review Guylian Chocolates! I have a sweet tooth so this made my day when I opened my box filled with delicious goodies. Inside the box I received Chocolate Truffle Boxes in both original and extra dark chocolate. They were enough for me to share with the family. All of the chocolates come with a signature hazelnut filling that is to die for!
