Cinnamon Roll Recipe

You may think making cinnamon rolls can be difficult and even time consuming but it really isn't. I recently made cinnamon rolls for my family to enjoy and everyone loved them. I have to say that they are better than those you buy already made. OK so I have made the recipe here available to you guys so you can try this out yourself.

For the Dough you will need:

1 cup of warm milk
2 Large Eggs
1/3 of melted butter
Rapid Rise yeast pack
1/2 cup of sugar (I used Splenda but any is fine)
1 tablespoon of vanilla extract (optional)

For the Sugar Cinnamon Mix

1 cup of brown sugar
2 tablespoons of cinnamon
Softened butter to spread on dough before adding Cinnamon-Sugar Mix.

Cream Cheese Frosting

1 Cool Whip container
8 once Philadelphia Cheese
Powdered Sugar (Add to taste) I added 3 tablespoons

You will have to mix everything from the dough ingredient list on a large bowl. You can use a hand mixed, stand mixer or if you have a bread machine that would be so much easier. Once you are done cover up the container with plastic wrap and let it sit at room temperature for 40 min. You will see a big difference in the size of the dough.

During this time you can start by making the Cinnamon-Sugar mix. This is very simple just add both ingredients and mix.

Once the dough is ready you can start by stretching it on a clean surface. You can add more flour to the surface so the dough wont stick.

Now you can add the mix! Make sure you have distributed equally.

Start rolling it until you have a rolled taco shape.

It should look like this. You can preheat your oven and set it to 400 F.

You can start cutting the roll in the desired shape using a knife.

Use butter to grease a large pan.

Leave in the oven for 12-15 min.
While you wait can start on your frosting. Mix everything together in another large bowl with a hand mixer.

And you are done! When they are out of the oven it is the best time to add the frosting because it is easy to melt.

I hope you liked this recipe and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask!

Clutter Free with Music Magpie

My hubby is a DVDs and video game hoarders. Like you can imagine we have a large amount of DVDs, video games and Cd's we don't use. We have game consoles from back in the day and if I could get rid of them I would.

We recently moved from Riverside to LA and I found out how much stuff we actually had. Though it was a very short amount of time that I had to pack, I was able to separate all the DVDs games etc in a different box. It makes it difficult for anybody to move or even save space for other things when you have cabinets full of stuff. So I made it a challenge for me to get rid of some of the old stuff and I found the perfect way of doing so!

Inside the box I received Chocolate Truffle Boxes in both original and extra dark chocolate. They were enough for me to share with the family.
